Domino's Japan is taking a break from their hidden menu of tapioca tea bubble tea pizzas, triple mayonnaise pizzas, and tsundere pizzas to get in on the seasonal fun of "moon viewing" food products.
September is time for Japan's moon viewing festival, so many franchises such as KFC, McDonald's, and Krispy Kreme serve up "tsukimi" (moon viewing, in Japanese) menu items using egg to recreate moon viewing.
This year Domino's will be offering two tsukimi-themed pizzas.
The first is The Tsukimi Creamy Egg and Bacon pizza. It's topped with a creamy Hokkaido white sauce, egg spread, finely ground sausage, mayonnaise, sliced eggs, smoked bacon, and parsley.
The second is The Tsukimi Terichikitamago (teriyaki chicken tamago). It's topped with Camembert mixed cheese, teriyaki chicken, teriyaki sauce, spinach, mayonnaise, and sliced soft-boiled eggs.
Both pizzas will be available from Domino's Japan from September 14th to October 4th.
