Fans of the beloved magical girl manga turned anime, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon, are being spoilt this year in Japan. The world’s first Sailor Moon show restaurant opened in Tokyo earlier this year, Universal Studios in Osaka had another temporary Sailor Moon themed ride, and now there’s currently several limited time only Sailor Moon restaurants running in various Japanese cities.
There’s been quite a few pop-up Sailor Moon cafes before in Japan, each one proving to be amazingly popular. The theme of 2019’s run is ‘Girls Night Out’, and there’s a whole host of magical dishes on this year’s menu.

5 Sailor Scout Tortilla Wrap Sandwiches (1590 yen, not available at Saitama location)
Sweet Maiden Brunch Pancakes (1590 yen, lunch time only)

There’s ten specially concocted drinks to represent a host of beloved characters from the series which go for 890 yen each.
Naturally, there’s also lineup of adorable exclusive merchandise available so you can remember your time at this fleeting Sailor Moon eatery.

Shibuya (Tokyo) - 3rd October to 17th November
Osaka - 3rd October to 17th November
Nagoya - 10th October to 24th November
Sapporo (Hokkaido) - 18th October to 17th November
Hakata (Fukuoka) - 26th October to 1st December
Koshigaya (Saitama) - 14th November to 13th January
