As many in Japan get used to staying, studying, and working from home as a safety countermeasure to the coronavirus outbreak, the country is seeing a shift by many restaurants toward takeout and delivery services. Tonkatsu (Japanese fried pork cutlet) chain Katsuya is doing the same, but doing it with some of the heartiest bentos around.
Katsuya is known for not shying away from heavy portions and loaded katsu bowls (they recently served up a chicken katsu bowl topped with crispy cornflakes) and their four "full power food bento" are no different.
Napolitan Spaghetti and fried egg, karaage, chicken katsu, chopped cabbage, sliced daikon, and a side of rice.
