There seems to be a real enthusiasm for incredibly realistic miniature worlds and dioramas in Japan, with artists creating beautiful goldfish ponds and even a diorama theme park that recreates the worlds of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Sailor Moon.
Japanese Twitter user and animator Ayaka Wakita's (@babababa_1223) latest miniature creation sets itself apart in that it completely buys into the original world it creates. One of Wakita's artistic hobbies is creating "original idols", or fictional Japanese idols. Here Wakita has imagined the memorabilia and merchandise decorated room of a fan of such an idol, Hinako Asakura.

The detail of the room's layout--books not positioned totally perfectly, a record player that can change records with movable arm, calendars with dates, and even stuffed animals that the idol held at a concert, but that Wakita gave a backstory to the fan the room belongs to. Wakita says the fan is a second year high school girl named Yui-chan, and gave thought into imagining how she might organize her room.

Wakita even went as far as to create a detailed character profile and lineup of official goods for the idol, which you can see here.
As you can see, Hinako Asakura's "official goods" are truly tiny!
