With its very own Tamagotchia and even lingerie line, popular anime and manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was already a merchandising monster, but the continued success of the record-breaking Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train film made it something even bigger.
Demon Slayer fans now have one more stylish way to show off their fandom. Japanese bag maker Croster is set to release two new randoseru (traditional Japanese elementary school backpacks that have become quite fashionable) based off of Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado.
The Tanjiro model features the green and black checkered pattern of his haori, along with the protective mask received from Sakonji Urokodaki on the sides. The Nezuko model features her pink and red kimono pattern, as well as her bamboo muzzle on the sides.
Each bag (69,300 yen) is made directly to order, and so delivery isn't expected until September 2021. However, those who pre-order from Croster will receive a bag cover with the respective character motif.
