You may remember Japanese photographer Hisa (@Hisa0808) for his gorgeous set of photos showing off the historic mountain settlement of Shirakawa-go blanketed in snow.
The talented photographer has once again captured the snowy World Heritage Site in Gifu prefecture, although these new photos are being compared to iconic film "Back to the Future" because of their perfect timing.

Hisa by chance took the two shots just as a car or two were zipping by, giving the traditional Japanese farmhouse scenery that preserves an aesthetic of early Japan a sci-fi twist of color.
