Seeing all the sakura season products and goods being released around Japan makes everybody crave for that picture perfect picnic under a cherry blossom tree. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, a number of cities have announced that holding hanami in certain parks will be banned this year, whilst other parks that are known as being a magnet during the cherry blossom season are being closed all together.
But that doesn’t mean that your pink season fun has to stop when Starbucks’ 2021 sakura drinks lineup comes to an end. At the Tokigawa Himitsukichi COMORIVER resort, private sakura tree rentals give visitors the opportunity to enjoy their very own hanami without the risk of catching or spreading infections.
The ‘Sakura Tree Charter Plan’ will be available to book for a limited time from 15 March to 15 April 2021.
Bring along your own BBQ and enjoy a private hanami party at an ensured safe social distance from others. Lined up alongside a riverbank, the row of cherry blossom trees make for that luxurious picture perfect sakura season view.
