Send Gorgeous Temari Chocolates To A Special Someone This Year For Valentine’s Day
There are generally two types of people in this world; those who enjoy savoury things, and those who prefer food that is sweet. If you’re in the latter group, then you are most likely aware that being a sweet lover is no simple category. There are those who enjoy the smooth textures and mild taste of chocolates, and there are others who would rather chomp down on sour candies, gummy sweets and fairy floss (not forgetting there are also those who love a good bowl of Mother Nature’s best candy - fruit). But who's to say you can’t enjoy the best of both sugary worlds.
If you are a sweet tooth who is prone to mixing chocolates and gummies, then this new collaboration from both Tirol Chocolate and Kanro’s Purégumi is sure to catch your eye.
Perfect for summer, the collaboration merges the two candies into one, producing a bite-sized chocolate coated gummy bursting with flavour that both adults and children will enjoy.
A refreshing lemon gummy is trapped between a sour wafer and a lip-licking coating of lemon flavoured chocolate. Instead of working against one another, the contrasting textures of soft gummy, crispy wafer and smooth chocolate blend together and create a unique finish that will have you craving for more.
In addition to the candy’s release, both Tirol (@TIROL_jp) and Kanro (@kanro_pure) are holding a special twitter campaign to celebrate the collaboration. Follow and retweet posts from both accounts in order to be within the chance to win a set of Tirol Chocolate x Purégumi Lemon snacks.
Like all Tirol chocolates, the new lemon flavoured bite-sized snack is available for an affordable price of 32 yen per each individual piece, and can be picked up at convenience stores and supermarkets nationwide.
Masters of recreating classic flavours into miniature chocolates, Tirol has been a household name in Japan since 1979. They’ve merged almost everything you can imagine into tiny chocolate squares, from traditional Japanese strawberry daifuku to parfaits.
On the opposite end of the sweet spectrum, Kanro has been in the candy making business for over 100 years, and has made some of Japan’s most beloved sweets such as their milk candies, Purégumi candies and their sour candemina candies. The brand even produces candy for soothing sore throats.
