Fight kaiju in style with new Shin Ultraman eyeglasses

Japanese tokusatsu hero and icon Ultraman isn't in the business of scaring anyone exactly (although Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno's upcoming Shin Ultraman movie may challenge that idea), but Japanese Twitter user Soromitsu (@sorokage) may have found an exception due to the adorable antics of his son.
Soromitsu is an avid fan of tokusatsu and sentai heroes, oftening up as characters such as Kamen Rider to the delight of his two-year-old son on special occasions. He recently shared some photos of his toddler surprising him by finding trying on his Ultraman outfit and well...let's just say it's a bit of a disturbing sight to see appear out of the darkness!

As you can see, the Ultraman mask is a bit too big for the young toddler, resulting in the image of a deformed masked superhero with a gigantic head roaming the halls at night. Some commenters have likened the proportions and appearance to No Face from Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away, as well as a certain baby from Resident Evil: Village.
While we're sure the initial shock as a bit jarring, Soromitsu is probably happy to see his son getting into his hobby--hopefully he can just grow into it a bit more!
