Three words - that's all she wanted to air on a 5-second commercial spot she's bought.
Shirley Batchelder is a 94-year-old woman living in Tennessee. She was happily married for 57 years, and has children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; she sees them all regularly. In her interview with WSMV-TV, she looks back on her life positively: "I agree with you that I have had a fantastic life."
But she had one thing left to do: “I want to put an ad on television.”
Expressed in three simple words, Shirley's message is so heartwarming. Coming from a person who's experienced so much, this message should strike the hearts of many - we hope it would.
