Earlier today, King Records released a new video of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" by Yoko Takahashi, the opening theme to the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion, and one of the most famous anime songs of all time.
The new video uses high definition footage from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series to revise and readjust the original music video of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis," released in 2003.
This new edition was made to celebrate the June 20 release of a maxi single containing both "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" and "Soul's Refrain." Featuring original album art by video director Masayuki, the single is available from today on King Records' online store and elsewhere.
The video will be available on various domestic video streaming services from July 6th.
