Shiba inu, arguably Japan’s favourite national breed, are known globally for their antics thanks to social media. Some are known for their endearingly stubborn nature, and others are known for their English teaching skills.

This latest viral star garnered attention for these cute photos that were taken when the dog’s water bowl completely froze.

The owner picked up the perfectly round block of ice which the dog started licking, creating a very cute photo op.

However cold Japan’s winters may get, nothing will get in the way of this shibe getting refreshment.
