Nintendo's pink, puffy, and all-consuming hero Kirby has a cuteness that has translated into the culinary world. In Japan, Kirby's been turned into adorable mochi sweets and the Dreamland savior even has his own cafe in Tokyo.
As many others have, Japanese Twitter user Ayataka (@samparaojisan) decided to try their hand at making their own batch of Kirby sweets. They quickly found out that not only is recreating Kirby in dessert form quite difficult, but when it goes wrong, things can get pretty terrifying. They write that "I wanted to make these into Kirby but I have such little sense for this sort of thing it became a monster..."
