New UNIQLO Pokémon T-Shirts are iconic
Uniqlo’s sister brand GU is known for its affordable and trendy clothing, as well as reliable and reasonably priced basics. The popular chain fashion store can be found all over Japan.
This year GU collaborated with Pokemon for the first time, releasing a collection of cute and wearable pieces including t-shirts, loungewear and even underwear, under the umbrella concept of ‘I Choose You!’.
Their second range keeps it fresh and fun by focusing on bright, summer-appropriate wear, with the concept of ‘Evolution’.
While the previous collection featured fan favourites like Jigglypuff and Snorlax, the main stars of the latest collaboration is Pokemon from the Galar region, the setting of the most recent Pokemon installation, Sword and Shield. The designs cover mens', womens' and kids’ items, so there’s something for any fan of the series.
The lineup includes up-to-date trends such as the tie-dye revival and contrast panel designs. The t-shirts are also trendily oversized, and there’s cropped options for those who want to show a bit more skin.
Not just clothing, there’s also awesome accessories such as an Eevee phone pouch and Galarian Ponyta bag.
Even the most expensive items in the collection are just 1490 yen. The full range can be viewed on GU's online store.
The lineup will be available instore and on GU’s online shop from 21st August.
