You may have seen collaboration menu items at anime-themed cafes and restaurants, with the occasional cocktail also included for good measure. For example, we enjoyed cocktails based on Spike and Faye when we visited the Cowboy Bebop Cafe last year and there was an impressive non-alc cocktail lineup at the Neon Genesis Evangelion buffet back in February.
If your favorite character is from a famous anime or currently-trending anime, there are good chances a collaboration cafe will show up, and you may find a cocktail on the menu. But that's only for a limited time. And you're out of luck if your favorite character is from a more minor or older anime.
But what if you could learn how to make an original cocktail inspired by your favorite character so that you can make it at home anytime you want to?
Character Cocktail Making School
On October 14th, Upstart Tokyo Inc. announced a special workshop called "Character Cocktail Making School" in Craft Cocktail Tokyo, their members-only concept bar in Ikebukuro dedicated to creating original cocktails. Participants will learn from professional bartenders how to create original cocktails inspired by their favorite anime characters.

The openings for the original workshop dates, November 7th and November 8th, were quickly filled up. As a result, Upstart Tokyo has now announced two additional dates to accommodate more participants:
