Melon Bread Ice Cream Is A Dream Come True For Japanese Convenience Stores

Japan is the land of cute desserts and animal-shaped food. From donuts with cute animal shapes, to banana sweets that have Pikachu images on them, some of the food you’ll find here are just too adorable to eat.
One cafe that has their own version of cute animal food items is Farmers Garden Cafe Omelette. They currently have 3 branches in Japan, with a new branch opening this month in Okazaki City, Aichi.
On their menu is a dessert dish that looks like a dog that’s about to fall asleep -- only, it’s made out of ice cream. Simply called “Dog Ice Cream”, it’s main ingredient is plenty of fresh cream, but it’s face is made out of pure cuteness.

The cafe in Okazaki has another dog-themed item that isn’t available in the other stores. Despite its name (“Taiwanese Omelette”), this dish is made with cream, fruits, and a cute doggy ice cream wrapped in a Taiwanese castella -- altogether served in a parfait glass.
