Despite hints of spring being on the way in Japan (like the announcement of Starbucks’ first cherry blossom-themed drink), truthfully, it’s still flipping cold, and anyone who struggles with chilly weather will find these cat antics incredibly relatable as well as adorable.

The super cute video and pictures were posted by Instagram user @kibimomo, the proud owner of six cats. She often posts updates of them palling around or wearing trendy outfits and accessories.
But the video of how her cats react to the cold is what has been garnering attention recently, leading to many comments exclaiming that unlike us, these enviable cats have no idea what social distancing is.
The warmest place in the room is surely right next to the heater, which is why all six cats can be seen snuggling up and jostling for the best spot. Probably due to the cats’ propensity to do this, the owner has put the heater on a low setting for feline safety.

As horrible as cold weather can be, it’s still pretty heartwarming to see these cats snuggling up together, even if the ones at the back probably wish they had the spot closest to the heater.
