Bandai releases a Shinobu Nichirin blade that plays 35 of her Demon Slayer quotes

Just last month, fans of smash hit anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba were treated to a full scale replica of Kyojuro Rengoku's fiery red Nichirin blade. Now fans of the unassuming but deadly Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho can have a colorful Nichirin blade of their own, one that lights up and plays a number of the character's quotes.

While not quite the authentic blade look of its Rengoku counterpart, the clear and glittery Nichirin is part of Bandai's DX Nichirin series, meaning it features a more bubbly and transparent look. The Nichirin comes with an accentuated butterfly theme, and plays 35 lines that Shinobu says in the anime when alternating between two different modes--"famous scenes mode" and "Insect Breathing mode" at the push of a button.

The 55cm Shinobu Nichirin Blade will be available from Premium Bandai starting April 24th. Customers outside of Japan can look at their international order pages.
