Phantom Breaker: Omnia trailer featuring an all-star English voice cast!

Rocket Panda Games released a new English dubbed trailer for Phantom Breaker: Omnia, which is the new entry in their bishōjo beat em’ up video game series, Phantom Breaker. Phantom Breaker is a one-on-one 2D anime fighter originally released by MAGES in 2011.

The combination of great depth and simple controls has made the series a big hit among beginners and hardcore fighting game fans. A spinoff game from series titled Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds sold over 400,000 copies!

Both long-time and new fans will enjoy the English dubbed trailer which features amazing voice actors such as Erica Mendez as Mikoto, the main heroine of the series. She is also known for her role as Retsuko in Aggretsuko.

Phantom Breaker Story

Mikoto Nishina 仁科美琴, is a talented 19-year-old violinist who lives in Tokyo.

One day, she learns about a tournament held by a mysterious man known only as the “Phantom.” The organizer has declared they would grant one wish to the winner. Mikoto decides to try and win to help cure her sick uncle.

However, the true purpose of the tournament is to manipulate vulnerable adolescents into fighting each other, with mystical weapons of great strength known as "Fu-mension Artifacts" to help unleash Phantom’s true destructive powers...

Now you know the basic story, let’s learn more about new features in Phantom Breaker: Omnia.

20 Character Roster!

One of the best things about this series is its varied cast. According to the official website, two brand new characters have been created specifically for Omnia. What kinds of fighters will they have for us next?

In addition to the new characters, Kurisu Makise 牧瀬紅莉栖 from Steins;Gate, played by Trina Nishimura, and Rimi Sakihata 咲畑梨深 from Chaos;HEAD, voiced by Carrie Savage, who previously appeared as guest characters in Phantom Breaker: Extra will once again be present. If you watch the trailer carefully to the end, you’ll see them appear.

All the characters in Phantom Breaker: Omnia will have English voice acting by a very talented voice cast. For example, Kira Buckland (Mary Saotome in Kakegurui) for Mei, Luci Christian (Ochaco in My Hero Academia) for Cocoa, SungWon Cho (FL4K in Borderlands 3) for Phantom and more!

Gameplay Changes

Of course, the update is not only about characters! The update has added three different fighting styles to the game (Quick, Hard, and Omnia) which can drastically change your character’s speed, power, and mechanics. Find your own fighting style and make your characters the strongest!

Secondly, the ability to pull off amazing combos and special attacks has never been easier. Phantom Breaker: Omnia's fighting system has been overhauled and rebalanced!

Language

The game’s text will be also translated into English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified, and Traditional Chinese.
