A new fun location called まいふぇいぶ My Fave opened this month in Shibuya, which is one of the most exciting areas in Japan! My Fave is a live performance café.

The name comes from “my favorite” because this café’s theme is “a place to chat about your favorite things, to cheer for your favorite cast member, and to be happy through their performances.”

Wow, the interior is very atmospheric!

Enjoy live performances by future popular idols!

There are so many maid cafes and girls bars where cute Japanese girls work in Japan. Then, what is special about My Fave?

Every waitress at My Fave had to go through a competitive audition process, which is why they are called “cast members.” Their dream is to make a major debut. At this café, you can enjoy their powerful and cute live performances for free!* Live performances start at 9:00 pm on weekdays. On weekends and holidays, performances are held at 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 9:00 pm. However, the schedule might be subject to change without notice. Check the latest information about their live performance on their official website.

*You will be charged 1,000 JPY/60 minutes as a table charge and 590 JPY for one drink.

Their events and the fashionable idol costumes are produced by Asobisystem Co., Ltd., one of the leading companies in the Japanese entertainment industry!

The café is managed by Asobisysytem and Newton Corporation, a giant in the leisure and amusement industry in Japan. Newton Corporation is especially known for their stylish karaoke chain, Pasela Resorts パセラリゾート. In other words, they are acoustic professionals.

Cute food menu

Their food is just as cute as their cast members! Look at this!

This is お絵かきふわふわオムライス oekaki fuwafuwa omuraisu, which means something like "fluffy omurice decorated with a drawing" (omurice is an omelet stuffed with rice). This dish is so cute that it’s hard to eat!

You may think that venues like this which leverage cuteness to appeal to customers just serve frozen food of mediocre quality. In this case, however, it’s not true at all! Their food is cooked by professional chefs and pâtissiers. The cast members apply their cute ketchup art after the chef serves up their delicious dish.

This is まいふぇいぶ プチトー mai feibu puchitō. Puchitō プチトー is actually a portmanteau of petit and toast. The cubic "petit toast" is served with a scoop of ice cream on top and a slice of chocolate with the image of a random cast member printed on top! Of course, it's made of chocolate, so it's edible.

Other dessert menu items include Gâteau au Chocolat and more!

They even have some wagyu beef dishes! Here is a digital menu with pictures.

Halloween event

They are holding a Halloween event this month. Why don’t you treat yourself to their cute special Halloween-themed food?

There is another special thing you can’t miss during the Halloween event. During this Halloween event, the cast members will wear their favorite Halloween costumes!

Find your favorite cast members and support their dreams!
