Diehard coffee fans in Japan will already know about Tully’s Coffee’s awesome Japan-exclusive beverages. Sometimes the releases celebrate seasonal events like Valentine’s Day, and other times they offer up tasty drinks made in collaboration with famous characters such as Tom and Jerry.
One of the festive releases for 2021 expertly brings both of these aspects together. The seasonal menu additions celebrate the most wonderful time of the year through mega-popular franchise Harry Potter.
The drink has been modelled on the treacle tart that appears in the story, which Harry has a particular fondness for. When in the presence of Amortentia, the most powerful love potion, he even catches the fragrance of this dessert. Tully’s ‘Treacle Tart Latte’ (693 yen) will also give off this fragrance, along with the aroma of coffee.
For an extra 385 yen, you can also get a silicon cup sleeve emblazoned with the Hogwarts crest.
Branches of Tully’s will also stock various Harry Potter items such as mugs, flasks, and bags.
Even Tully’s teddy bear, Bearful, appears as a Hogwarts student.
Some items are exclusive to Tully’s online store.
The collaboration drink and merchandise will be released in Tokyo’s Marunouchi area first from 11th November, giving lucky muggles in that area a chance to get their hands on them before everyone else. It will then appear all over Japan from 26th November.
