Mega-popular anime and manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba needed no excuse for its ever-growing merchandise empire, but once its first feature film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, became the highest grossing movie of all time in Japan, the wave of goods became unstoppable.
Japanese hobby retailer Movic has been one of many to help the cause for fans, releasing a suitcase modeled after Nezuko's box and traditional hair ornaments inspired by popular characters.
They've now added to their resume of Demon Slaying goods with a fitting way for fans to keep the rain away--a folding umbrella modeled after Nichirin blades wielded by the Demon Slayer Corps.
The handle of the umbrella is designed to look like that of a Nichirin blade, and both the umbrella itself and its "sheath" cover feature the crest of the Demon Slayer Corps and the motif of the wisteria flower, which is loathed by demons as a weakness.
The Demon Slayer Corps folding Nichiren blade umbrella are available to order in Japan from Movic directly, as well as Village Vanguard for 3,300 yen with delivery expected in May of 2022.
