Kirigami Papa's paper creations
Armed with only paper and scissors, Japanese paper artist 切り紙パパ Kirigami Papa creates animals and Pokémon designed to bring a smile to your face and soothe your soul. A childcare worker and father of a one-year old son and four-year old daughter, Kirigami Papa's creations are a hit with kids young and old.
For some time now, he has been featuring his handiwork, mostly his amazing Pokémon paper creations, on his Twitter account as well as his YouTube Channel, where he also shows how to make some of them.
His most recent creations, however, have gotten him more noticed, and it's not hard to see why, especially if you're a fan of butterfly and moth type Pokémon.
Butterfly/Moth type Pokémon "specimens" on display
Take a look at this display. Not only does it feature a whole array of butterfly and moth type Pokémon, skillfully shaped and colored in their familiar patterns, but he has pinned his creations to a cork board just like a real-world collector would with a prized collection of specimens.
