With the interest in healthier diets ever-growing, it’s becoming more and more common to see new health “trends” popping up here, there and everywhere – and when these foods and drinks are packed with the right balance of flavour, nutrition and looks, it’s hard to say no to them.
Having just opened up shop in Harajuku, The Label Fruit offers a selection of smoothies that couldn’t get anymore “good-for-you”. In addition to their health-focussed menu, each drink and it’s label is fully customizable, and to ensure your health stays tip-top you can receive your order with the latest non-contact service.
Much like the brand new Blue Bottle Coffee pop-up cafe, The Label Fruit uses a locker collection system. This innovative system reduces non-essential contact between staff and customers, and also increases order efficiency.
Whilst you collect your drinks from a locker just like at the Blue Bottle Coffee pop-up cafe, where The Label Fruit differs is in how you make an order. At the pop-up cafe, you need to use the touch screen to submit your choice of drink to the barista, but at The Label Fruit you are asked to order via smartphone before arriving in store. Not only does this further reduce unnecessary contact, but it also eliminates queues, and makes ordering and picking up your drink a breeze.
So how does it all work?
Place your order from anywhere with the store’s mobile order system, and designate a collection time, in return you will receive a QR code for your drink.
When making an order there are 7 items that can be customized (some for an additional fee);
– flavour of drink
– type of milk
– level of sweetness
– topping
– name of drink label
– colour of drink label
– pattern of drink label
When you’re ready to collect, the locker containing your drink will signal you with a unique effect linked to your order’s QR code.
*Please note, that orders that have not been collected within the designated time frame will be discarded due to deteriorated quality and hygiene of the drink.
The Label Fruit basic drink flavours
– Strawberry au lait
– Pineapple au lait
– Mango au lait
– Peach au lait
– Melon au lait
Currently you can only place an order by following the store’s instagram link to the order page, but eventually the store will include an “Order” button on their google maps business profile.
