After a run of successful temporary cafes in Japan, Kirby fans have been lucky enough to enjoy two permanent Kirby Cafes. One in Tokyo and one in Hakata.
Diners in the Kirby Cafe can gorge themselves on dishes and beverages packed full of motifs and references to the games, as well as feel immersed in the atmosphere with Kirby-based decor. Not only are there staple menu items like the Kirby Burger which has adorable pink bread buns stamped with Kirby’s features, but they also revamp the menu every season, and bring out limited time only treats to celebrate special occasions.
Not only Kirby, but many of his pals and rivals have been included in the menu.
Now we’re about to be blessed with another offering from the classic video game character, and the chosen location is Nagoya, the capital of Aichi Prefecture.
The new location is set to open from 15th September until 5th February, so it seems like a tentative opening at first. We can only hope that it gets made into a permanent cafe in the future in response to demand.
Kirby’s people will be releasing more information about the new branch soon via press releases and Twitter, so we will keep you updated as time goes on!
