Starbucks Japan moves into spring with Banana Almond Milk Frappuccino

Starbucks Japan does not hold back when it comes to seasonal offerings, as they will often release not just one, but several creations per campaign.
Their first autumn beverage lineup of 2022 was released at the beginning of September, and it included a Frappuccino that combined chestnut, a Japanese fall favourite, with a fruity blackcurrant twist.
Their next release has gone straight for the seasonal jugular with a roasted sweet potato inspired Frappuccino. No food screams autumn in Japan like sweet potato, and roasted ones especially are a great comfort food for warming up on a chilly day.

The ‘Roasted Sweet Potato Brûlée Frappuccino’ has an iced milk base mixed with the caramel-like taste of roasted sweet potato. The whipped cream topping is swirled with roasted sweet potato brûlée sauce and ‘brûlée chips’, creating a dessert drink which will make you feel like you’re consuming a caramelised, roasted sweet potato.

But like all seasonal Starbucks treats, it will only be around for a short time. The Roasted Sweet Potato Brûlée Frappuccino will be bumped off the menu after 18th October 2022.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte has also made a triumphant return for the season and will be available in store until 31st October 2022.
