We’ve all dreamed of a white Christmas, but a lot of us are greedy and want only a particular kind of white Christmas. Like maybe six inches (or less) of immaculate snow, not to having to deal with the melting, dirty slush that snow eventually turns into, and for the weather to not be unbearably cold. Being able to curl up in front of a real fireplace with a hot cup of cocoa would also be a major plus.
But, like always, life doesn’t work way.
It’s times like these when you should take a trip out to the newly-opened White Winter Starbucks in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Open for a limited time only, it opened its doors on Dec. 22nd, 2015 and will be making a lot of guests happy until Jan. 12th, 2016. As the first and only all-white Starbucks in Japan, it’s been receiving quite a lot of attention.
With all-white decor, soft lighting, and the various speakers set within the cafe playing different “wintery” background noises, guests will truly feel as though they are in a winter wonderland. You can even get new winter drinks like the Chocolaty Crumble Cocoa and Chocolaty Crumble Cocoa Frappuccino, both accented with crumbled biscotti and cacao nibs.
If you’re in the area and want to try it out, you’ll probably want to head out early — the lines are long, and it doesn't look like they’ll be getting shorter any time soon.
