Rainy days are ideal for transforming yourself into a samurai warrior — not because you’ll have an excuse to stay at home and cosplay, but because they’ll give you a reason to whip out these sword umbrella bags.

The Tōken (Sword) Umbrella Bag is a strong and durable compartment in which you can put away your umbrella like a samurai sheathing his sword. Made with Kurashiki Hanpu canvas fabric from Okayama Prefecture, this 90-centimeter-long bag will carry any one of your umbrellas, regardless of the size.
It’s designed with the print of a Japanese katana and can be slung across your body, letting the umbrella rest in the same position as the scabbards of the samurai. The straps look to be adjustable, too, and will give anyone the chance to become warrior for a day.

The sword umbrella bag was produced by Sengoku, and will be sold from June 10th at Baistone stores, and at other affiliated stores later on.
If you like the concept but don’t want the sword print, you can get a plain canvas umbrella bag instead. Either way, fighting your way through a rainy day is going to become a breeze.
