The Godzilla Resurgence premiere is only a few days away, and long fans of the King of Monsters have been waiting in sweet agony to see how Godzilla will be making its way back onto Japanese soil. One thing we know for sure, though, is that it certainly won’t be wearing either of these pairs of Godzilla sneakers, which will only be available to the feet of Godzilla-loving humans.
In a collaboration between Reebok, MegaHouse, and of course Godzilla, 2 Godzilla-inspired sneakers are scheduled to be released next year, and fans will be able to stomp their way around Tokyo clad in badass monster gear.
Version GODZILLA
The Reebok CLASSIC x MegaHouse Instapump Fury Road Ver. GODZILLA, or simply the Godzilla version, is a sleek black pair made to look like none other than the King of Monsters. The shoes are meant to resemble its face, with the eyes in the center and fangs along the bottom of the sole. The heel is marked with the words “KING OF THE MONSTERS,” and the sole sports an original logo of Godzilla vs Fury Road.

Version Shin Gojira
The Instapump Fury Road Ver. Shin Gojira Godzilla Resurgence version utilizes phosphorescent materials on its surface and sole, making it glow green in the dark. This extra addition to the Shin Gojira version is based on Godzilla’s signature radioactive breath. The heel of the shoes are marked with Godzilla’s scratches, and the bottom similarly shows the original logo.

Both sneakers will be available for 28,000 yen (268.20 USD), a price fit for Japan’s most iconic kaijyu.
The release is set to be in late January of 2017, which does seem a bit too far off into the future. But fans will be able to reserve orders starting July 29th, 2016 (the day of the premiere of Godzilla Resurgence!). They'll have to act quick, though — with limited supplies of both pairs, these sneakers are expected to sell out fast!
