As part of the promotional campaign for Godzilla: Resurgence(Shin-Gojira), the latest installment of the Godzilla series directed by Neon Genesis Evangelion Hideaki Anno, we've seen some truly epic collaborations between the series in the form of impressive figures. While most have focused on the EVA-01 unit, EVA-02 is getting some love by tapping into the more primal and ferocious parts of both series with this new Godzilla vs. Evangelion figure.

Like previous entries in the figure series, this imposing figure follows the premise of Godzilla cells being injected into an Evangelion unit, awakening a savage and beastly inner entity. The thirty centimeter tall figure looks a bit more Godzilla than it does Evangelion, but perhaps fans of both series will see a link between the King of the Monsters and Asuka's wrath.

Premium Bandai is taking reservations for the figure, which is scheduled to ship in February for 32,400 yen ($313.72 USD). Premium Bandai unfortunately only ships within Japan, but those hoping to acquire the figure might have some hope, as there is a good chance it becomes available on Bandai's online English store, as well as other hobby sites.
