With many schools in Japan closed as a countermeasure against the spread of the novel coronavirus, students have found themselves shifting their studies to after-school day care centers that have rearranged their schedule, and even improvising canceled graduation ceremonies on Minecraft.
But even when not studying, students are being advised to stay indoors as much as possible. While staying healthy and taking precaution to protect others is the highest priority, it can be understandingly frustrating for children to stay indoors during the spring. Fortunately, students cooped up at home have a new option to keep themselves entertained--free Pokémon episodes!
TV Tokyo has announced that it is making all episodes of the current Pokémon anime free to watch on the Pokémon YouTube channel (in Japanese, obviously), and will continue to do so through March 31st.
You can stream currently 17 episodes at the Pokémon YouTube channel.
