Enjoy a black & red Halloween feast with the “Gothic Sweets Collection” at Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower

The end of summer is near, and autumn is just around the corner. While Halloween is still more than two months away, you can already enjoy the spirit of Halloween from September 1st if you pay a visit to Sky Buffet 51.

200 meters high above Osaka, on the 51st floor of the Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower, the Sky Buffet 51 is having a special Halloween buffet called "Gothic Sweets Collection," elegantly arranged in red and black.

A lunch or dinner plan which also includes a choice of delicious savory dishes, the "Gothic Sweets Collection" features approximately 80 different dishes using seasonal ingredients. According to the press release, they've created a special gothic Halloween that "mature women will enjoy," with a color theme symbolizing the positive and negative elements in a woman's heart: red for "passion and love" and black for "jealousy and greed."

Red sweets are made with such ingredients as strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, and ruby chocolate, while black sweets are made with such ingredients as bamboo charcoal, black cocoa, black chocolate, and blackberries. Some of the sweets also have health benefits. For example, raspberries are rich in nutrients and contain immune system-boosting polyphenols, and bamboo charcoal is rich in minerals, is good for intestinal health, and absorbs toxins as it passes through your digestive system.

The savory selection features delicious seasonal ingredients such as blackthroat seaperch and Pacific saury, and a cornucopia of mushrooms such as highly prized matsutake, flavorful maitake, and Tamashironotake, a hybrid of king oyster mushrooms and Bailingu oyster mushrooms known for their abalone-like texture.

Sky Buffet 51 is also having a "SOMETHING RED" campaign in which women wearing the color red will receive a 20% discount on their bill.
