One of the true seasonal treats of visiting Japan is koyo or momiji, its celebrated brilliant yellow, orange, and red fall foliage. The gorgeous layers of color enhance already well sought out travel spots to take in wonderful scenery, particularly when they grace ponds and moats found at scenic temples.
Japanese resin artist @ni28_xp has found a way to transport that last image into the home, with this beautifully designed table that recreates the imagery of fallen autumn leaves in a pond with a rippling water effect.

The low transparent resin table was created with the image concept of fallen autumn leaves on a surface of water, such as a temple or garden pond that you can imagine koi swimming around in. The realistic water surface doesn't actually move, but the masterfully replicated ripple point makes it appear as if it does, and looks like a fun spot to place your drink (the surface is heat resistant).

Here's a look at the creation process behind the eye-catching room centerpiece.
The fallen autumn leaves on water table is currently available for order from nickeLab's Creema online store in Japan for 98,500 yen. It's not the creator's first artistic table, however. In the past they've made beautiful ocean-themed ones such as the table featured below, so be sure to follow @ni28_xp on Twitter for more awesome work.
