Depending on the country you live in, you have a different name for the popular but unsourced tune that Japanese people refer to as "Neko Funjatta" (I Stepped on the Cat). It's a simple piano tune that many known in English as "The Flea Waltz", and if you need a refresher course this video will get you up to speed.

In Japan this is typically a cutesy kids song about accidentally stepping on a cat. That was all the motivation Japanese shipping service Kuroneko (black cat) Yamato needed to put together one of Japan's famed eccentric commercials. The commercial is essentially funky black cats grooving and cruising around the streets and under strobe lights.

Moving and grooving like only a cat can.

If you want to see how the song is usually portrayed in Japan, here it is below. Although we have a feeling this new version will be the standard for a while--I mean, it has dancing cats.
