Nitori is a retail company in Japan that focuses on furniture and home accessories.
It has a wide selection of items, and among them, you can find simple or complex designs and a lot of good-quality goods that are also convenient and affordable.
I like it a lot because the shop itself is cute and it’s super easy to find what you are looking for. I find a lot of inspiration when I go to the store and see the arrangements that are changing seasonally.
I always find an excuse to go to Nitori for more creative ideas and to get the newest accessories every time the season changes.
Accessorizing your room or simply changing the cushions or blankets helps to create a different atmosphere.
Here is an example:
The cushions’ covers look so cozy and perfect for this season!
Now, here are some of the items I would like to recommend to you this autumn:
Cushion Covers
There are three colors you can choose from: yellow, navy, and red, and one cushion cover costs around 727 yen(without tax).
I personally like the one in yellow, although in the pictures, at least, it looks more saturated and feels more like orange more than yellow.
Either way, I find yellows, oranges, reds a perfect match for autumn.
You can check the details here.
Kotatsu
The next thing you should have, especially if you live in a cold region, is a kotatsu! Here is one of my favorites.
Now, you can also find resizable kotatsu tables so you can sit on either floor or the sofa/chair, depending on your preferences. All you need to do is change its size.
Kotatsu has a heating system beneath the table and is the coziest thing ever!
I love it, and since coming to Japan, I’m not sure I can live without it anymore, especially during the cold days of winter.
You can also match it with cute blankets. I have one with reindeer that looks so cute but am thinking of also getting another blanket that looks more autumn-ish.
Curtains
I saw these curtains, and I fell in love with the design! Nitori also has similar bed covers, pillow covers, and even carpets!
Tableware
You can find so many items from cute to beautiful, for every taste and a match for any season. Here are a few options you can choose from.
These are my top four recommendations. Which one was your favorite, and what would you pick?
