Back in July, fast food lovers in Japan surely took notice of Burger King's colossal 2,046 calorie "Maximum One Pound Beef Burger," especially since it was offered as part of an all-you-can-eat campaign.
Now, Burger King is going beyond "Maximum" and reaching into "Extreme" territory with another one-pounder but this time, with a noticeable difference.

In a move sure to please those who want to feast on flame-broiled beef patties while also cutting carbs and doing away with gluten, not to mention reducing the calories by 40% (1,236 calories), the "Extreme One Pound Beef Burger" takes the basic concept of the Maximum and removes the buns (and the bacon). This burger is all about the beef.
