If you have an appetite for big burgers in Japan, Burger King has been kind to you recently. With releases like Tokyo Teriyaki Tower Super One Pound Beef Burger and King Yeti Burger, there's been some extra beef on the menu.

One of the biggest of their burgers is about to come back to the menu, however, and its bring a challenge with it. For a limited time and at limited locations, Burger King Japan will be reviving their all-you-can-eat "Super One Pound Beef Burger the Challenge"!

This isn't just an all-you-can-eat challenge to see how many Whoppers you can polish off, however. The one item (along with fries and a drink) that you'll be asked to take on is none other than the monstrous Maximum Super One Pound Beef Burger.

The Maximum Super One Pound Beef Burger, which weighs 608 grams and contains 1,633 calories on its own, is one loaded burger. Here's a breakdown of its toppings as well as a visual guide:

creamy mayonnaise

freshly cut onions

pickles

smoky bacon slices (x4)

cheddar cheese slices (x4)

sesame seed buns (13 centimeters wide)

fresh lettuce

freshly cut tomatoes

ketchup, salt, and pepper

And of course, four flame-grilled beef patties.

The all-you-can-eat "Super One Pound Beef Burger The Challenge" event will be held at six Burger King stores: Roppongi, Machida Joruna, Kawasaki Zero Gate, Funabashi, Omiya Nishiguchi, and Funaba Minami Kyuhoji.

Those who wish to participate must buy a reservation ticket for the challenge at the official event website in advance. Participation costs 2,900 yen, and each contestant will have a 45-minute time limit (each location has select competition times)h. Seconds can be requested once a burger is completely consumed (you also may be filmed while attempting to finish!). The top-eater at each location will be invited to a commemorative event on August 7th.

Those who participate will be given celebratory shirts and stickers as well.

If you're a little intimidated by the the all-you-can-eat challenge, don't worry, you can try the burger on its own from July 8th-July 28th at Burger Kings across the country independent of the event, priced at 2,100 yen a la carte or 2,400 yen in a set (from 2:00pm each day in limited quanitites).
