Chef Ivan Orkin Showing How To “Properly” Enjoy A Bowl Of Ramen
Founded in 1981, Tenkaippin is one of Japan's most popular ramen chains. Tenkaippin (called Ten-ichi for short) is famous for their rich and thick "kotteri" soup that's made from chicken stock and a dozen vegetables that's come to be known as Kyoto-style ramen.
To make sure ramen fans can properly recreate the Tenkaippin ramen experience at home, the chain is releasing a celebratory fancy silver ramen donburi bowl to close out 2020.
The limited quantity deep silver platinum bowl comes in special packaging with a silver ramen spoon. It's a follow up to their fast selling golden donburi ramen bowl, which was released to celebrate the first year of the Reiwa era.
Priced at 11,500 yen, the fancy ramen bowl will be available for instore purchase at select Tenkaippin between December 10, 2020 (Thursday) -February 28, 2021 (Sunday), as well as online purchase from December 15, 2020 (Tuesday) -April 30, 2021 (Friday).
