If you’re looking for something a little more sweeter in appearance than a regular donut, there is no need to look any further than Floresta.
Specialising in making handmade organic donuts that take on the shapes of the cutest animals and characters, it’s hard not to look at a Floresta donut and think ‘oh my gosh, how could I eat this adorable thing?’. But once you do, it’s hard not to crave more.
In the past we’ve seen Floresta team up with kawaii company, Sanrio for some of the most lovable collaborations ever (seriously, check out this adorable Gudetama donut lineup, or this Little Twin Stars collab), but now, Floresta are giving us something a little bit different, although still ultra cute – a Kumamon donut set!
Though originating from Kumamoto prefecture, Kumamon is a mascot that has touched the hearts of people far and wide across Japan, and now he’s being reproduced as Floresta’s newest donut collaboration.
The set comes with a total of 6 donuts, and includes two cute Kumamon character donuts and four standard Floresta ring donuts for the bargain price of 1,620 yen.
The character donuts are each crafted by hand, and feature the charming face of Kumamon on top of a milk chocolate coated organic ring donut. The donut is finished off by replicating Kumamon’s trademark red cheeks with a dusting of strawberry powder.
The set is available to purchase exclusively from the official Floresta Organic Store webshop only, so order yours now for a tasty treat for Golden Week!
