The pool of impressive wool felt artists in Japan seems to be only growing. Just recently we've seen genius stretchy shiba inu cheek stress relievers, and even a service that creates super realistic wearable replicas of your pet's head.
Smiley Smiley is one such talented artist, using wool felt to craft seafood dishes so lifelike and detailed they look like they jumped out of the ocean and right onto your plate.
Smiley Smiley is once again turning heads on Instagram, this time with a set of tentacles. The wool felt artist has served up a finely detailed squid that has been freshly caught and ready to prepare for a gourmet meal.
As you can slide through the images, you can see that Smiley Smiley spared no attention to detail, with incredibly realistic suckers on each tentacle and lifelike color achieved by layering the wool felt masterfully.
The squid can even be pulled apart, revealing even more detail and craftsmanship, as if you were preparing it for cooking.
Smiley Smiley doesn't just craft seafood, however, you can follow the artist's amazing work on Instagram to see some great sweets and even Pokemon.
