Everyone loves a plushie of their favourite character. They work as a soft hugging companion, as well as adding some character to a room, but some can do even more than this. There’s Pokemon PC cushions that will try to save your wrists from RSI, and even Sanrio plushies big enough to sleep on.

As the colder months approach, Premium Bandai have come up with a type of plushie that will actually help to keep you warm. This version of Waddle Dee, from the super popular video game series Kirby, has a heater inside, so it can keep you toasty while you hug it or keep it on your lap.

By using the attached USB cable, you can plug him in and after just 30 seconds his belly will start to feel warm. It’s perfect for warming up your lap while using the computer, but if you have a mobile battery you can use it anywhere in your room. It can reach a temperature of around 42 to 46 degrees and it’s about 33cm in size.

Bandai have already released a few different characters in this series, and following up from Waddle Dee, during November you can preorder the Kirby version of this heated plushie.
