Nothing lasts forever, and some things fade away before you even get to enjoy them.

Such is the hard lesson of life learned by this poor raccoon, from a program on Japanese television captured by Vine user Tsucchi. He writes that "This raccoon trying to wash cotton candy is too cute lol" and while that's certainly true, we can't help but feel a pang of sadness in our hearts. The raccoon no doubt went to some great effort to get this cotton candy and brought it back as a treasured treat of the day, only to watch it dissolve like a broken dream before his eyes.

He keeps searching, but to no avail. There is nothing, just adorable tragedy.

We feel for you little guy. At least you have clean eating habits.
