Japanese Rock Star Gackt’s Perfect Response To First Ever Loss On Game Show
It's not uncommon to see dogs in Japan wearing pet-sweaters to brave the colder seasons (and sometimes chilly indoors), but lately we've seen some cats sporting some rather inventive feline fashion. In the past year, there's been a cat cafe in Saitama with a staff of kitties who cosplay, along with a cat who plays dress-up to teach Instagram followers about Japanese culture. Sometimes, however, these cat clothes aim for a nice balance of both cuteness and practicality, as ween with the recent kitty scarf.

Japanese pet collar designer and Twitter user Mam (@atelier_mam), however, is now trotting out an item that simply doubles down on the cuteness of cats with this Japanese schoolgirl uniform collar for kitties.
The adorable model for Mam's latest entry in her series of charming cat collars is Pino, a two-year-old male Scottish Fold. He seems to be a natural when it comes to sporting a collar that recreates the motif of a traditional Japanese sailor-style schoolgirl uniform.

Mam's collars are intentionally loose-fitting, fluffy, and comfortable, as to not cause injury to the animal wearing them. The ribbon itself is pre-tied, and the collar appears to have an adjustable notch to make sure of this. While many high schools in Japan have their own distinct uniform, the red, white, and navy color combination is considered a classic representative of many. The particularly fluffy Pino gives the collar a prim and proper look.

Mam creates a variety of charming designs for collars on her online shop at Minne. While the sailor-suit schoolgirl collar has yet to be released (it's still being developed as a prototype), she will announce its availability on Twitter when finished.
