Over the holiday season, Starbucks Japan have been flexing their seasonal specialty capabilities with festive offerings like the 'Berry x Berry Frappuccino', and the 'Matcha x Matcha White Chocolate Frappuccino' which will be in store until Christmas. For the post-Christmas winter season, the ubiquitous coffee chain are exploring the possibilities contained in tea leaves to warm up their customers over the New Year.
For their latest creation, the 'Earl Grey Honey Whip' they chose the fragrant combination of honey and earl grey tea. Sprinkled white chocolate flakes give the beverages a holiday vibe perfect for winter and it's available as both a Frappuccino and a hot latte.

In a veritable festival of tea lattes, two other menu favourites are also getting a limited time only topping option. The classic, spicy chai tea latte has been bolstered by a whipped cream layer sprinkled with white chocolate.

Another Starbucks Japan favourite, the hojicha latte is also reborn as the ‘Hojicha Cream Tea Latte’. Hojicha is roasted green tea leaves, a type of tea which has a toasty flavour and reddish brown colour. For this temporary topping option, the latte has been mixed with white chocolate flavour syrup and the whipped cream topping has a smattering of brown sugar.
These tea latte beverages will be on the menu from 26th December until 19th January 2021.
