Japan's capsule toys cover just about every niche you can think of, sometimes inventing new ones with adorable hamster and egg breakfast figures, kawaii colorful poop, and Cthulian watermelon squid hybrids.
Capsule toy manufacturer Kitan Club is adding to their already eccentric collection of capsule toy releases with a new lineup that creates a hybrid of safety helmets and turtles.
The new release replaces turtle shells with safety helmets commonly seen in Japan, such as a yellow one that says "safety first" and others worn by construction inspectors and traffic patrol officers.
The lineup of five will be available from capsule toy machines around Japan for 300 yen at the end of January.
