Cat’s realization she’s headed to the vet leads to adorable before-after transformation
There’s many beautiful features to be found in traditional Japanese houses, and shoji sliding doors with paper covered panels are definitely one of them. These doors were created in order to let lights and shadows, such as those from swaying trees outside, be appreciated while in the room, and to let sound travel freely so that the inhabitants are more likely to speak and move around quietly. These traditional doors can give a room an impression of peace and tranquility.
That is until you mix this interior feature with something more volatile. A pet.
We’ve recently witnessed a dog that used a rip in the door as his own personal spying hole while his owners were sleeping. Now it’s the turn of a mischievous cat.

While the dog fled as soon as he was caught, this cat seems to have no regrets. The comically well-timed photo shows the feline perpetrator bursting through the paper with a wild look in his eyes.
The picture seemed to strike a chord when it was uploaded to Twitter by @kokonananya, the cat’s owner. Perhaps due to the hilarity of the situation, or because many cat owners could relate to the distress caused by a destructive cat. It gathered up over 64 thousand likes. Comments poured in such as ‘now he’s gone and done it…’ and, ‘he’s mischievous but cute. This cheered me up!’
