An indefinite delay of Neon Genesis Evangelion's Rebuild of Evangelion series final film, Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time hasn't slowed down the wave of merchandise originally centered around its release. Tamagotchi that let you raise pet Angels, Evangelion cup ramen, and a Fender guitar modeled after Asuka are just a few of the goods released as hype for the anticipated film.
Now fans of the iconic anime in Japan can be greeted and guided by the voice of their favorite characters when they need to deposit or withdraw money, as convenience store Lawson is installing Evangelion ATM's that speak using the voices of the official voice actors.
For a limited time, the new Evangelion ATMs will display Evangelion-themed interfaces and panels, along with a guidance system that is voiced by the voice actor of three characters. The schedule and character rotation is as follows:
January 18th-24th: Misato Katsuragi (voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi)
January 25th-31st: Asuka Langley Soryu (voiced by Yuko Miyamura)
February 1st-February 14th: Shinji Ikari (Megumi Ogata)
