It almost seems like hardly a month goes by before Starbucks Japan releases another one of its seasonal special flavored Frappuccinos, with their fluffy sakura strawberry whip celebration of cherry blossom season the most recent example.
Their spring sweets march continues on, this time with a theme on using almond and oat milk as a base to shake things up, with their new Banana Almond Milk Frappuccino and Honey Oats Milk Latte.
According to Starbucks, the new "Banana Almond Milk Frappuccino" combines the natural sweetness of bananas with the subtle aroma of a banana scented almond milk. Added to the base is fresh banana pulp, and the drink is topped with banana chips fried in coconut oil served on a dollop of their first ever almond milk whip.
The "Honey Oats Milk Latte" is a new flavor of the Oats Milk Latte Starbucks Japan previously released in 2020 for a limited run. The espresso and oat milk latte is drizzled with a slightly fruity honey cascara flavored sauce, as well as topped with cascara sugar made with coffee pulp extract.
Both will be available at Starbucks locations throughout Japan from March 17th to April 13th.
