2020 ended with a flurry of fast food burgers, including "ugly" cheese burgers, Big Slut burgers, and even a Whopper that wards off evil spirits. Now popular Japanese burger chain Mos Burger has decided to keep the buns rolling in 2021 with an all new macaroni and cheese topped burger.
According to a survey conducted by Mos Burger, 88% of Japanese people are unaware of macaroni and cheese, and so it appears the driving concept of the new Mac 'n' Cheese Croquette Burger is to spread the good word of the dish to the nation. The burger sees a rich and creamy potato croquette topped with meat sauce, macaroni and cheese, kishu ume plum paste, and wholegrain mustard.
Mos Burger recommends pairing the burger with their new pulpy and citrusy "Navel Cola", which uses navel oranges and lemons from the Setouchi Inland.
Both the Mac 'n' Cheese Croquette burger and Navel Cola will be available at Mos Burger stores throughout Japan from February 10th until the end of March.
